Kung Fu Panda

I like many others this past weekend, decided to escape the heat by heading into a cold dark room to see Kung Fu Panda. Good decision. Kung Fu Panda was exactly what I thought it would be.

It was awesome. It is a great story about a Panda who works in his family noodle shop becoming the Kung Fu Dragon Master and defeating the (bad guy). You do have to keep in mind that it is a kids movie, but an awesome kids movie. It was funny and the fight scenes were off the hook. (Look out for the dumpling fight scene if you choose to spend your money wisely and go see the flick. Chopsticks have never been so riveting.

It was good clean fun and even though it was a cartoon, Jack Black is totally type-cast into that goofy fat guy, and in this case that goofy fat panda.

Questions I have after watching the entire movie:
  • How old is Po (Panda)?
  • How is the Panda's father a Duck?
  • How could I understand the monkey if he was really voiced by Jackie Chan?
  • How long did it take Po to learn all that Kung Fu without the city being destroyed first?
  • Why didn't KG have a better voice role? Hasn't he learned how to ride coattails better?
  • Why haven't I thought about strapping fireworks to a chair in order to fly in the air as depicted below?
Strong effort. Still haven't seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall. If my grandparents went and walked out within the first 10 minutes, you know it's to be good! Skaduche!
